Once a natural part of regional attire, now often seen as museum exhibits, occasionally worn by the most devoted enthusiasts of tradition. A group of women from the “Frelki in Lubsza” Country Housewives’ Association, together with photographer Tobiasz Janus, took on the task of showcasing the beauty of Silesian costumes in contemporary photography. Their goal, as they declare, is to “preserve them from being forgotten.”
